The children’s staff and volunteers at New Haven understand that children are gifts from the Living God. We are dedicated to sharing Jesus through many ministry outlets. Now more than ever children need a solid foundation on which to build their lives. We use different methods to teach Jesus and His word because children learn in many different ways. We developed a “Discovery Room” where children of all ages gather to put on programs, watch Bible stories, act out Bible stories, and use play as a learning tool. We present Children’s Church on Sunday mornings during the worship time for children 2 years through 6^th grade. Wednesday nights are used for practicing the current program the children are working on, TeamKID and even an occasional lesson in “Cooking with Character”. We provide many forms of teaching so that every child feels welcome and comfortable in our classes and have an outlet for their learning style. All this leads up to one focus: Children need a strong foundation in Jesus and our goal is to

give them that foundation.
