Our primary priority at New Haven is that every part of our
praise and worship services, honors God, is focused on Christ,
who is the head of the Church, that the Spirit’s work is not hindered, that we are consistent with Scripture
and doctrinally sound.
Our desire is not to please man but to please God,
that He and His Word are elevated.  As we minister,
we want the truth to be evident and encourage people
to engage in seeking His presence. We know that only
God’s Word and the Spirit can bring people to
a place of praise and worship and
move and change hearts.
John 4:24….
God is spirit, and those who worship Him
must worship in spirit and truth.
Col. 3:16-17….
Let the message about Christ, in all its richness,
fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with
all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns
and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.
And whatever you do or say, do it as a
representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks
through him to God the Father.
Col. 3:23….
Whatever you do, do your work heartily,
as for the Lord rather than for men.
